What it is

The law's clear. We make it simple.

Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, every responsible person must have a current fire risk assessment. It identifies hazards, evaluates risk, and sets out what you must do to keep people safe.

We match the assessment type to your building — from a basic Type 1 to a full destructive Type 4 — and pair you with an assessor whose competence fits the complexity. You get a clear, prioritised action plan, not a 40-page PDF nobody reads.

Who needs it?

  • Employers & building owners
  • Landlords & managing agents
  • Care homes, schools & HMOs
  • Hospitality & retail
  • Any premises that isn't a single private home

Questions

Fire risk, answered.

Yes. The Fire Safety Order 2005 requires the responsible person to have a current FRA for almost all non-domestic premises and common areas of residential buildings.
Type 1 is a non-destructive look at common parts. Types 2–4 add increasing levels of inspection inside units and into the structure, up to fully destructive for high-risk buildings.
At least annually, and whenever there's a significant change — refurbishment, change of use, or a near-miss. We diarise reviews automatically.
A competent assessor whose experience matches your building. For complex or high-rise premises we assign a senior assessor with the relevant background.
